Minister Mary Coughlan,
Office of the Minister for Agriculture and Food
Agriculture House, Dublin 2 - Ireland
Dear Minister,
As a civilised person, I strongly believe that raising and killing animals for their fur is not an acceptable practice in nowadays society.
Alas, to my regret beautiful Ireland still has fur farms, thus murdering thousands of minks and foxes a year solely for their skin – after a very
miserable life confined in cages.
Do you sincerely think this treatment of innocent beings is acceptable to people with their heart in the right place?
I am sure you do not, dear Minister Coughlan. I am sure it breaks your heart as well, thinking of this cruel animal torture for sheer luxury: fur!
Please, put an end to all fur farming in Ireland.
Let Ireland be a country that sets value on an ethical treatment of animals.
Thanking you for your attention, I remain,
Yours sincerely,
