I am amazed and utterly saddened to state that "Muscalus Furs in Lower
Paxton Twp. just finished a standing order for a fur coat for a Maryland
beauty pageant contestant, who will be wearing a red fox jacket this year.
Muscalus is on track to finish the year with a 5 percent increase in sales
when its fiscal year ends in February, said owner Ron Cohle. "

Why? You seem to believe that you can't do business without fur, this symbol
of ridiculous vanity, based on sheer animal abuse and misery?

I would like to draw your attention to the fact that the use of fur is
cruel, and morally wrong. Organizations such as yours should not be
promoting cruelty to young men and women as an acceptable way of living.
There are thousands of beautiful cruelty free materials you could use in
this occasion.
Fur is not one of them.

Remember: Compassion is always in fashion, cruelty NEVER is.

Look at other big department stores like Harvey Nichols, Liberty,
Selfridges... They took the right decision and stopped the sale of real
animal fur, and they are just doing fine.

I sincerely hope that you will rethink the matter seriously. I really hope
that you will very soon show some compassion towards animals.

You have contacted the wrong office. We are Miss Maryland USA and do not use fur or offer it in our prize package. The Miss Maryland America pageant does give a fur coat to their winner - I suspect this message was meant for them instead.

je pense que plutôt qu,il essaye de défendre le nom de cette Miss à fourrure
