Dear Mr Mannion,Dear Madam/dear Sir,
I urge you to ensure that Aer Lingus refrains from recommending bullfighting
as a holiday activity.
It is regrettable that your company has already publicised this horrendous
activity in your recent promotions email. I hope that those on your mailing
list can urgently be alerted to the fact that witnessing an animal being
stabbed and cut up is actually not a very pleasant holiday experience and is
likely to leave them upset and disgusted.
Madrid has a huge amount to offer tourists; why has Aer Lingus chosen animal
cruelty as one of its recommendations for those visiting the city?
I invite yo to view the Bullfighting video presentation
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J2S0n6a_wFk
which explicitly shows the barbarity involved.
I hope that this can be rectified and that your company will no longer
publicise or promote this awful barbarity.
Thank you. I eagerly await your reply.
Yours sincerely,

"The assumption that animals are without rights, and the illusion that our
treatment of them has no moral significance, is a positively outrageous
example of Western crudity and barbarity. Universal compassion is the only
guarantee of morality."

Demande au Ministre du Commerce Etranger de l'Angleterre d'instaurer
l'interdiction des produits provenant des phoques du Canada

Objet: The seals of Canada
To the Minister of State for Trade at the Foreign & Commonwealth Office
Dear Minister Ian Mc Cartny,
The annual slaughter of seals in Canada gets underway this week, despite
ongoing pressure from animal welfare groups around the world that the
practice is cruel and unnecessary.
Approximately 270,000 seals will be killed in this year's cull - from
which the pelts (fur) are exported for the fashion trade, mainly to
Europe and East Asia. There are real fears that some of the seals - some
of which are under three months old - remain conscious when skinned.
"The mass slaughter and trade in seal fur is horrific, and the sooner
Europe makes a solid stand against the Canadian seal hunt the better,"
said David Bowles, RSPCA head of external affairs.
I ask you for the UK to introduce a ban on seal products from Canada.
I hope you will take my request into consideration,
Sincerely,
