Dears,
This July the Cheyenne Frontier Days Rodeo, one of the cruelest rodeos in
the world, will once again brutalize, maim and kill animals in the name of
mindless "entertainment".
This year the Cheynne rodeo has managed to schedule your group.

It's not the first time the CFD Rodeo has had rock music there in an attempt
to coax in a wider, typically non-rodeo-going crowd to their waning event.
However, the Def Leppard signing is something of a surprise, since a number
of members of the band are vegetarians. Guitarists/singers Phil Collen and
Vivian Campbell are vegetarians, as well as their producer, John "Mutt"
Lange. Phil Collen even made a public service announcement for PETA
http://tinyurl.com/2hbe4z urging people to go veggie.
I can't understand why you accepted to play at the Cheyenne Frontier Days
Rodeo????
I want to let you know that I'll never be able to look at or listen to you
the same way if they are part of a show whose history is the maiming and
killing of untold numbers of animals. The Cheyenne Frontier Days Rodeo is
one of the most brutal and deadly rodeos in the world, as it features both
steer busting and the infamous wild horse race.
You can see SHARK's photos of the CFD Rodeo at
http://www.sharkonline.org/?P=0000000454
Last year Carrie Underwood withdrew from the Cheyenne event after SHARK
sent her video and still pictures showing the cruelty of the Cheyenne rodeo,
and after many of you wrote letters to her. Even coffee giant Starbucks
withdrew its corporate rodeo sponsorship of CFD when faced with the
irrefutable images of animal abuse, injury and death during their Buck
Starbucks campaign.
So I hope you will take my request into consideration,
Sincerely,
