"Actelion s'implante en France

Actelion, société suisse créée en 1997 par d'anciens chercheurs du
groupe Roche, a implanté sa première filiale européenne, en France, en
septembre 2000. Baptisée Actelion Pharmaceuticals France, celle-ci
compte un effectif de 6 personnes et a déposé une demande d'ATU pour
bosentan, première molécule d'une nouvelle classe
pharmacothérapeutique, les antagonistes des récepteurs de
l'endothéline destinée au traitement de l'hypertension artérielle
pulmonaire. Bosentan (DCI) pourrait être mis à la disposition des
hôpitaux en avril-mai et selon Annick Schwebig, pdg d' Actelion
Pharmaceuticals France, l'AMM pourrait être obtenue " au 1er trimestre
2002 ". Le médicament est aussi développé dans l'insuffisance
cardiaque chronique."
