| LETTRE TYPE POUR SAUVER LES CHIENS DE LA POLICE, l'ARMEE ......... MERCI Je transmets, faites suivre SVP. Courriel :

Gentlemen, Ladies, Word has traveled the globe and those of us who advocate for the rights and humane treatment of animals are appalled to learn that the life of Saxon, a dog who has served your community with honor and distinction, may be taken because of out-dated and inhumane policies. It is a well-known and well-documented fact, that trained K9's working for the police, drug enforcement, armed services, etc. have been safely retired to live out their days with the families of the handlers to whom they are devoted. Surely you are aware of this? Please do not abuse your authority and the trust the public has placed in your hands to commit a cruel and inhumane act. Saxon is a loyal, living and breathing being who deserves more than euthanization as payment for his service! On behalf of animal advocates and caring citizens everywhere, I urge you to allow Saxon to receive the rewards he so justly deserves, by permitting him to retire and live out his days with the family he loves and who love him in return. I also urge you to commit to a humane and compassionate policy that seeks retirement of all your police canines to families or rescues that are responsible and dedicated to their care. Thank you for your consideration of this appeal which is made on behalf of the thousands of members of PEACE~People for the End of Animal Cruelty and Exploitation, and organizations and individuals all around the world.
