Ladies, Gentlemen,

Giving away live animals as a prize is an irresponsible, unethical act. It shows a lack of respect for the very being of a living and sensible creature. Even a “light” program has a duty towards its public, and this is no way of educating people.

I learned from the internet that the Bulgarian media even think this is funny. Well, let me tell you and them that civilised Western countries do not consider the giving away of a live animal as a prize a laughing matter. They forbid this kind of prizing by Law.

I’m sorry to say that I have the impression that Bulgaria still has a long way to go before it will be suitable to join the European Union.
